These pants are true to size for a relaxed fit with a drop crotch - Apartment pants are designed to be worn loose fitting, not snuggly like tights. Please consider this if you choose to size down and wear them tight, they are not built for this sort of wear and wearing them this way can pop the stitching in pressure spots and wear away the print and fabric between your legs.
